Prime Cut Cafe

This is going to be a mixed review. The service and atmosphere were great, but the food was less desirable for the price. Wife ordered the Szechuan stir fry, and it was amazing. I ordered the Cedar Farm PRIME Ribeye. Well, not so much. Don't get me wrong. It was cooked to my liking, but for the size cut of meat I paid for well, I was disappointed. Especially when you go to a steak house called " Prime Cut Cafe".

Don't pass the opportunity to try prime cut Cafe, the 28 day aged rib eye so delicious matched with a Lobster tail little small tail but very good, the French fries were shoe string they are good just not my thing tonight, as for customer service Janet was Friendly, humorous, and was generously honest about food inquiries we asked about. Took my mother-in-law for her birthday as this place seemed to have a decent variety of choices for even the most picky eaters 😆. Atmosphere of this place is nice, definitely not a quiet candlelight dinner type place but thats exactly what we wanted. Staff was friendly and checked on us often as we were a group of 12+. I tried the bbq bacon burger and the double chicken sandwich. Both were great, I'd choose the chicken sandwich over the burger if you're torn. Other options, prime rib and the steaks which I were told were tasty. Prices are fair for these types of dishes but honestly, I'd rather just cook my own steak at home cheaper. The drinks were good, I tried the spicy margaritas and it didn't disappoint. Not much there for the kids so we had them split the spaghetti and meatballs. Give this place a shot.

Celebrated a birthday here tonight. It's a nice place. Simple, yet sophisticated decor, open feeling atmosphere & not stuffy or too loud either. Food was delicious. Ordered the cheese fondue appetizer & our first round of bread was so tosted so hard it could've broken teeth, but we still inhaled it. Waiter offered us more bread & I told him lightly toast it & it was perfect. Our food was ready quickly & amazing. Everybody loved their dinners & perfect portions too. My only issue- I wish the waiter would've cleared the old drink glasses when bringing refills. Well worth the price!

I have been a regular patron of Prime Cut Cafe & Wine Bar for quite some time now, and it is with a heavy heart that I must express my deep disappointment regarding the recent changes that have taken place at this establishment. The absence of Melissa, one of their best managers, has left a noticeable void that has negatively impacted the overall experience. Located at 1547 West Katella Avenue, Suite 101 in Orange, CA, Prime Cut Cafe & Wine Bar has been known for its exquisite cuisine and pleasant ambiance. The combination of delectable dishes and a warm atmosphere, once overseen by the attentive management of Melissa, made this place truly special. Unfortunately, during my recent visit, I was informed that Melissa is no longer a part of the team. This news came as a shock, as Melissa's presence was synonymous with the excellent customer service and attention to detail that Prime Cut was known for. Her ability to remember regulars, anticipate their preferences, and ensure a smooth dining experience set a high standard that seems to have faltered in her absence. The decline in service quality was evident throughout my visit. The once-impeccable attention to detail was lacking, and the overall ambiance felt less inviting. It was evident that the staff was struggling to fill the gap left by Melissa's departure. While the food quality was still commendable, the overall experience was marred by the sense that something essential was missing. I sincerely hope that Prime Cut Cafe & Wine Bar takes note of the impact that the absence of key personnel like Melissa can have on their establishment. A strong management team contributes significantly to the overall success of any restaurant, and the departure of such a capable and personable manager should not be taken lightly. In conclusion, my recent visit to Prime Cut Cafe & Wine Bar was a disappointment primarily due to the absence of Melissa, an integral part of what made this place shine. I hope that the establishment can recover from this setback and regain the level of excellence that I, along with many others, have come to expect.
